VTTK 1600 - Clinical Procedures Credits: 3
This course continues with the professional activities of a Veterinary Technician. Lectures will cover veterinary medical records, patient histories, OSHA, animal behavior, neonatal patients, nutrition, general animal nursing, euthanasia of animals, grief counseling of clients, and an introduction to emergency and first aid care of animals. Sessions include practical application of clinical procedures commonly performed by veterinary technicians in the treatment of animals.
Course Fees: $150 Prerequisite: VTTK 0010 ; and VTTK 1500 must be completed with a grade of C or better. Corequisite: VTTK-L002 must be taken at the same time as this course. Pre/Corequisite: VTTK 0005 must be taken previously or at the same time as this course.
