EDUC 1501 - Effective Substitute Teaching

Credits: 3

The objectives of this course are to understand professional ethics and responsibilities; expand awareness of classroom management techniques; increase knowledge of effective teaching behaviors; and develop a teaching resource file. The three credit hours include 25 hours of lecture and 30 hours classroom observation including 10 hours completed at each level elementary, junior high/middle, and high school.

Course Note: This course requires a prescreen background check to be completed prior to enrollment.
