EDUC 2100 - Practicum in Teaching

Credits: 3

Students will participate in an extensive practicum experience for prospective educators in an accredited school under the supervision of a certified mentor teacher. Students will observe a minimum of 50 clock hours during the semester AND attend weekly class lectures for 1 hour each week.

Course Note: This course requires a prescreen background check to be completed prior to enrollment.

Course Fees: $25
Prerequisite: ENGL 1010  and EDFD 2020 .  Any prerequisite course must be completed with a grade of “C” or better.
