AIML 1015 - Artificial Intelligence Literacy


Credits: 3

This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts, uses, and implications of artificial intelligence (AI) in modern life and work.
Students will explore how AI systems learn from data, examine examples of generative AI, and evaluate the opportunities and limitations of these technologies. Emphasis is placed on developing AI literacy–the ability to understand, question, and effectively use AI tools–along with critical awareness of ethical, social, and professional considerations such as bias, privacy, and accountability.
