AIML 1030 - Intro to Machine Learning


Credits: 3

This course introduces students to the foundational concepts and methods of machine learning, focusing on how computers use data to
identify patterns, make predictions, and support decision-making. Topics include data acquisition and preparation, supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, and model evaluation. Emphasis is placed on understanding algorithmic reasoning and developing practical skills with common machine learning tools.

Prerequisite: COSC 1010  and STAT 2050 .  Any prerequisite course must be completed with a grade of C or better.
