AGEC 2510 - Agribusiness, Marketing, Commodities, and Sales

This course provides an introduction to the principles and practices of agricultural marketing, commodity markets, and agricultural sales.  Students will learn how agricultural products move from producers to consumers through the market place utilizing marketing strategies,
the role of global and domestic market forces, how commodity prices are formed and managed through futures and hedging, and selling process used by producers and agribusinesses to communicate value, build relationships, and close sales in the agriculture industry.
