The Pre Health Science AS is designed for students who wish to transfer to a 4-year college or university to continue education in a health science program in Medicine, Dentistry, Physical Therapy, Optometry, Chiropractic, or Physician Assistant. Students wishing to major in Pre-Nursing, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Occupational Therapy, or Physical Education Teacher (UW transfer) will need to choose the Pre Allied Health Program. Additional credit hours may be required to meet pre-requisite course work requirements for a particular transfer institution’s program.

Students must complete all program requirements, including approved electives, with a grade of “C” or better.
