EDUC 1470 - Classroom Observations and Substitute Training

Credits: 3

An opportunity for pre-service and prospective substitute teachers to gain experience in classrooms in preparation for teaching. The student works with elementary, middle, and high school teachers to develop a greater understanding of effective teaching and classroom management.

Pre/Corequisite: EDUC 0010  must be completed successfully; or EDUC 0010  must be taken at the same time as this course.

Other Time: Students will be required to participate in at least 30 clock hours of practicum experiences in an educational setting.
