ANTH 2460 - Field Studies: Archaeological Field School Credits: 6
This course covers field and basic laboratory methods in archaeology for data collection, analysis and interpretation of cultural material. Emphasis is placed on archaeological questions, scientific methods, heritage preservation and culture change. The course also provides an introduction to the basics of site managment and directing research. This course requires 270 hours of field work.
Prerequisite: ANTH 1300 must be completed with a grade of C or better.
