The Pre Health Science AS is designed for students who wish to transfer to a 4-year college or university to continue education in a health science program in Medicine, Dentistry, Physical Therapy, Optometry, Chiropractic, or Physician Assistant. Students wishing to major in Pre-Nursing, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, Occupational Therapy, or Physical Education Teacher (UW transfer) will need to speak with an advisor for an appropriate degree program. Additional credit hours may be required to meet pre-requisite course work requirements for a particular transfer institution’s program.

Students must complete all program requirements, including approved electives, with a grade of “C” or better.
